Zombie Hello Kitty Cake

On her caketastic site, Debbie Does Cakes, cake designer Debbie Gourd says she draws influences from pop culture, fashion and art to create one-of-a-kind edible sculptures for customers that other bakeries “just don’t get.” Such was the case with this so-cute-it’s-scary zombie Hello Kitty cake. I mean, ask for something like this at your local grocery store bakery and prepare yourself for disappointment.

If you’re not in the San Fransisco bay area you probably won’t be able to have Debbie “do” your undead birthday cake, but you can always check out her As Seen On section to find her on Food Network and the like. (Worship her from afar like I do.)

If you know a bakery where flesh-eating monster cakes are on the menu, hit me up at NatalieMSlater@gmail.com!

I now return you to your lame life in which this cake was not made for you.
