Zombie flick aims for a world record.
I Spit On Your Rave, an upcoming zombie mockumentary from director Chris Boyle is going to be going for the gold in the Guinness Book of World Records by attempting to win the record for “most amount of zombies captured on camera.” I’m not sure who — if anyone — is the current world record holder. I imagine this is one of those world records that has never really been contested, so the first one to go for it is, well, the winner.
Who cares though? You’re going to get to see zombies next time you open a Guinness Book.
The filmmakers are planning on shooting a huge zombie crowd scene during the Big Chill music festival in August, where they’re asking real festival attendants to dress in their best zombie makeup and costumes for the shoot. Here’s the plot (which sounds awesome) via The Hollywood Reporter:
The mockumentary is set nine years after the 2012 Olympics, which has seen mankind rendered extinct after a virus is released during the sporting event. Zombies have taken over the world but, like their human ancestors, they are partial to a summer festival party.
